Con:particle boardthin gauge metalslightly smallslight awkward assembly at the endPros:fairly sturdyeasy to assemble apart from the above-mentioned Consimple instructionsunit complete as advertisedall tool includedStarting with the Cons. This is Chinese particle board. It's not real wood. The leg material is metal but thin. My guess is thin gauge steel of some sort. It is coated with black paint. This unit was smaller than I had expected which could be a Pro depending on what you are looking for. If you want an end table for a low chair or couch it will be sufficient. It would fit very well in a small apartment to add outlets, USB, and efficient storage space. Finally, the assembly was straightforward part from the final two shelves. I'd recommend having a small box or an assistant to hold the shelves as they are screwed in place. For one person this part can be awkward and fatiguing if you have poor upper body strength. Now on to the good. For such a small end table it is surprisingly sturdy. Included are some screw-in adjustable end caps for the legs which make this much nicer for wood, or tile floors. The instructions are in total about 10 steps. I mentioned in the cons it is made of Chinese particle board which is true however I was also surprised by the finish on the parts. usually, there are blown-out cornersor rough router marks but this was finished fairly well. I hate that my expectations are so low that I was surprised by that but the finish on this particular piece was quite nice. They even added a miter cut for the drawer bottom so the electronics cable could be routed without additional fitting. The until came with all the necessary parts but more importantly, it also was exactly like the picture.Again, I hate that in today's world I have to write that but it is true. The outlets sit where they are shown in the picture, the size is estimated as close as possible, and overall if your expectations are correct for an$80 end table then you will not be disappointed. The last thing that I'll mention about the pros is that all tools are included. The only two tools I needed were a knife for opening packagingand at the end one of the foot didn't want to screw in so I had to use a pair of pliers to get it past a manufacturing defect in the tapping. Beyond that, you only need the included Allen wrench and a Phillipsscrewdriver. The one included is a nice size too. IT was study and fit the small screws exactly. There were only 8 screws so this was a bonus for anyone not in possession of a Phillips screwdriver. You might keep it for a while to use around the house.Overall I gave this 5 stars. I only took one star away from sturdiness as I have no idea how sturdy it will stay in the future. The long Allen head screws seem to be well placed in the particle wood. The question will be the wood as the screws seem well suited for the job.If the wood holds up then this would be 5 out of 5 for sturdy again with the understanding this is a light-duty end table made of particle board. It's a step up from Ikea but not by much. I wouldn't sit on it but you'll be ok to put a lamp, computer, coffee, and a small house plant. If the cat jumps upwith all that it may become sketchy. At this time I'd recommend the product. It is doing the job I bought it for and I'm overall happy with the fit and construction for the price. If the quality were to be less then I'd price this much lower. Since there was some attention to detail I'd say it's priced about right. Anywhere between $50-80 would be correct and a good buy.
I was shocked to see how small the box was and was worried I ordered a itty bitty table. It looks wonderful and was very easy to put together! Ports and plus work nicely too! Best news, it was a normal size end table! Definitely would recommend
Quite small, but it turned out to be perfect little side table for my couch in my loft. Enough space to hold remotes inside top and and your drink, phone etc. Not big enough for decor or lamps. Easy to put together.
Love that it has both electrical and phone plug in ports. Small but sturdy and looks great.
Appears sturdy. Easy to assemble and everything works. Storing laptop and charging ipad. The hide-away drawer is a nice touch. I recommend if you are looking for small table.
I recently added this end table with built-in USB charging ports to my home, and it's been a handy addition. What I appreciate most about it is its space-saving design. It's perfect for my smaller living space, and the convenience of having USB charging ports right at the table is a game-changer.Assembly was a breeze; it didn't take long to put together at all. While it may not be heavy-duty, it certainly serves its purpose well. I use it to charge my devices, and it keeps my area clutter-free with the ability to hide small gadgets in its storage space.Overall, if you're looking for a functional and compact end table that adds convenience to your daily life, this one is a great choice. It might not be the sturdiest option out there, but it more than makes up for it with its practicality.
This table was easy to put together and we like the look of it, but neither of the USB ports work. The outlets are okay, but not the USB. Disappointed, but it is a great size for our purposes.
I love this little table!! It took just under 30 minutes to assemble (when you choose to do it without the instructions…the first time)! It’s handy and the lift-top is a “different” feature that takes some getting used to, but is a space saver.
The table is exactly what I needed. I set it up with the plugs in the back to hide the cords. The plugs are a bit too close together for oversized plugs so I added a small outlet extender. I highly recommend
I like to storage in the top and the smaller narrow size. Using them in several places for a little extra storage and a plant shelf
