  This tall but somewhat narrow black 3-shelf black table is fairly easy to assemble even though a few of the screws didn’t want to screw entirely into the joints (have patience, there IS a way to get them ALL totally screwed in). One note to remember: make the top shelf facing upwards the shelf with the “recessed” holes – the instructions don’t tell you that, but if you don’t use that shelf your bolts won’t be flush with the top.The table is made of painted particleboard. It’s not the strongest “wood” around but you’d be hard pressed to find any furniture these days that is totally natural wood – the furniture would be too heavy to ship from overseas and the cost would be prohibitive. This is NOT heirloom quality furniture, but it IS functional.The table is mostly stable, but the poles are not industrial grade thick metal – so you won’t want to put anything super heavy on it. I have put a turntable on it (see photo) and I think it will be steady and strong enough to keep objects in the 10-20 lbs. range secure.There were a couple of very tiny nicks in the wood, but they are mostly unnoticeable. Overall, the table is functional for light to moderate weight objects - it looks okay - and the price is very reasonable. I doubt that anyone will look back on the purchase of this table with regret as the price reflects the quality and durability of this type of furniture.

  This shelf was very easy to assemble. It came with extra hardware, which may seem insignificant, but it's a big deal to my husband. It also comes with the tool needed to put it together, another small win! It feels quite sturdy once put together. The size is perfect for what we needed in our bathroom. The only thing I don't like is how recessed the screws are in the top. Other than that this looks great. It comes delivered in a flat box, so if you aren't planning on putting it together right away it can easily be stored for later. I would have given it 5 stars, but the recessed screws lose one star. Other than that this is a great shelf.
